It also supports Meals-on-Wheels and Community Meal services affiliated with its network. It acts as a link between a Meals-on-Wheels network, the health community and its beneficiaries, as well as Montreal&#8217;s volunteer food services. Volunteering plays an essential role in the well-being of society. Our efforts aim to improve our society, one volunteer at a time.<\/p><p><strong>Job description<\/strong> <br \/>Dynamic, motivated by the management of information and data via our website, focused on human relations, the Volunteer Services Coordinator will play a central role in the coordination of volunteer services offered by the VBM. Reporting to the Executive Director, he\/she will be responsible for the day-to-day management of volunteer services, guiding, supporting and managing the VBM&#8217;s internal volunteers, promoting the development of volunteer services and ensuring representation with community partners. He\/she will join a committed, agile and collaborative team.<\/p><h4>More specifically, he or she will have the following functions:<\/h4><p><strong>Day-to-day management of volunteer services: <\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Ensure the quality and consistency of the services offered by the VBM through data management on the website: <br \/>&#8211; Ensure the management of volunteer offers <br \/>&#8211; Ensure the follow-up of matches via our website and via the placement counselling service <br \/>&#8211; Ensure the production of statistical follow-ups<\/li><li>Ensure the coordination of the volunteer placement counselling services and reception\u00a0<\/li><li>Provide consulting services to volunteer managers: creation of offers, recruitment strategy, recognition strategy and links to the training department\u00a0<\/li><li>Promote linkages with skills-based volunteering<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Management and recruitment of volunteers within the VBM<\/strong>:<\/p><ul><li>Ensure the recruitment, training, integration, supervision and coaching of internal volunteers<\/li><li>Regularly update all policies\/tools for the management of internal volunteers<\/li><li>Organize recognition activities for internal volunteers\u00a0<\/li><li>Mobilize the team to recognize internal volunteers<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Development of volunteer services: <\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Ensure the organization of activities to celebrate National Volunteer Week, International Volunteer Day and International Volunteer Managers Day<\/li><li>Contribute to the improvement and development of volunteer services in line with the VBM&#8217;s action plan<\/li><li>Work as a team to promote the linkage between the various volunteer services<\/li><\/ul><p><strong> Promotion <\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Contribute to the VBM&#8217;s newsletters, social networks and website<\/li><\/ul><p><strong> Representations\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Represent the VBM with organizations, consultations and community partners<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Profile sought <\/strong><\/p><ul><li>College or university undergraduate education in social sciences or other relevant field<\/li><li>3 years relevant experience <br \/>&#8211; Demonstrated experience in coaching and supporting volunteers; <br \/>&#8211; Demonstrated experience in managing volunteer services; <br \/>&#8211; Demonstrated experience in training, organizing activities, etc.<\/li><li>Good knowledge of the non-profit community and social field;\u00a0<\/li><li>Strong interest in data management related to the website;<\/li><li>Excellent skills in writing, synthesis, written and oral communication;\u00a0<\/li><li>Bilingualism or very good knowledge of English and French;\u00a0<\/li><li>Ability to work in a team, to adapt to a changing work environment, to handle several files simultaneously and to be proactive;<\/li><li>Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and development;<\/li><li>Ease in use of office automation and electronic communication software;<\/li><li>Availability to work occasionally in the evenings and on weekends;<\/li><li>Occasional travel on the territory of the VBM.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Additional information\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Permanent position<\/li><li>35 hours per week<\/li><li>Hourly wage: $26.14\/hour<\/li><li>Competitive Terms and Conditions of Employment and Benefits Program<\/li><li>Mix of teleworking and presence in the office<\/li><\/ul><p>Start date: April 2023<\/p><h4>To apply, please send your CV and a cover letter to <a href=\"mailto:administration@cabm.net\">administration@cabm.net<\/a>, no <strong>later than March 10, 2023<\/strong>.<br \/>Thank you for your interest.
