It also supports Meals-on-Wheels and community meal services affiliated with its network. It acts as a liaison between a network of Meals-on-Wheels, the health community and its beneficiaries, as well as volunteer food services in Montreal.<\/p><p><strong> Skills-based volunteering : <\/strong><\/p><p>This type of volunteering involves offering expertise and know-how to organizations in the community by applying specific skills and professional experience. The VBM carries out an innovative competency-based volunteering program that mainly aims to match and support stakeholders in order to facilitate the social participation of groups and individuals from the business world while strengthening the capacity of community organizations to achieve their mission.<\/p><p><strong> Job description :<\/strong><\/p><p>Under the Executive Director and in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, the incumbent will be responsible for enhancing the current program and ensuring the various components at both the strategic and operational levels. The incumbent must have strong project management and partnership development skills and adhere to the values and mission of the VBM.<\/p><p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p><p>\u25cf Analyze the current program and propose a plan for development and enhancement;<\/p><p>\u25cf Build a business plan;<\/p><p>\u25cf Participate in the development of the communications plan;<\/p><p>\u25cf Recruit and coordinate the necessary internal and external resources;<\/p><p>\u25cf Canvassing, developing and maintaining partnership relationships;<\/p><p>\u25cf Create and facilitate working and consultation committees as required;<\/p><p>\u25cf Perform customer service, matches and follow-ups;<\/p><p>\u25cf Evaluate processes and impacts and make continuous improvements;<\/p><p>\u25cf Conduct media and scientific monitoring for content creation, research and development, funding, partnership relations and communication strategies;<\/p><p>\u25cf Represent the organization and the program at various events or with various bodies or groups;<\/p><p>\u25cf Write reports and contribute to accountability for the program;<\/p><p>\u25cf Manage and respect the various contractual parameters, budgets and deadlines;<\/p><p>\u25cf Take part in the team life and the overall mission of the organization;<\/p><p>\u25cf Other related tasks.<\/p><p><strong>Skills :<\/strong><\/p><p>\u25cf Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in business development, social sciences or other relevant field;<\/p><p>\u25cf 3 years of demonstrated experience in project management;<\/p><p>\u25cf Good knowledge of the community and business environment in Montreal and Quebec;<\/p><p>\u25cf Excellent writing, synthesis, written and oral communication skills;<\/p><p>\u25cf Bilingual, spoken and written.<\/p><p><strong> Qualities :<\/strong><\/p><p>\u25cf Autonomy, rigor and strong organizational skills;<\/p><p>\u25cf Excellent interpersonal skills and team player;<\/p><p>\u25cf Creativity and dynamism;<\/p><p>\u25cf Ability to adapt to a changing work environment, to handle several files simultaneously;<\/p><p>\u25cf Proficiency in the use of databases, office automation and electronic communication software.<\/p><p><strong> Additional Information :<\/strong><\/p><p>\u25cf Contract ending March 31, 2025 with the possibility of renewal or permanency;<\/p><p>\u25cf Full-time, 35 hours per week;<\/p><p>\u25cf Hourly wage according to the organization&#8217;s salary scale;<\/p><p>\u25cf Occasional travel within the territory of the VBM;<\/p><p>\u25cf Competitive employment conditions and benefits programs;<\/p><p>\u25cf Hybrid schedule (in-office and work-from-home), according to the policy in effect;<\/p><p>\u25cf Language of work: French;<\/p><p>\u25cf Start date: As soon as possible.<\/p><p>To apply, please send your CV and cover letter to administration@cabm.net, no later than February 11, 2024.
