Also, I hope that you are taking all the necessary measures issued by the City of Montreal and by the Government of Quebec to counter the propagation of COVID-19.

The City of Montréal has been taking concrete measures to protect its residents. These measures are changing as the situation evolves, which is why I invite you to regularly consult our website dedicated to the situation: https://montreal.ca/en/articles/coronavirus-covid-19

Walk-in mass testing clinic for COVID-19 in Ville-Marie:

The first walk-in mass testing clinic has been operating since March 23rd at the Place des festivals at the corner of Jeanne-Mance and de Maisonneuve West. The clinic is open 7 days a week from 8 a.m to 8 p.m. and offers services to individuals who present themselves by car and by foot.

***Important: not everyone that comes to the clinic will be tested, the health personnel will triage patients based on certain criteria. Please consult the following website to know whether or not you meet the criteria and for more information: https://ciusss-centresudmtl.gouv.qc.ca/actualite/covid-19-ouverture-dune-clinique-de-depistage-sans-rendez-vous-pour-augmenter-le-nombre-de-depistages

Closure of parks

After the Government of Québec decided to ban all indoor and outdoor gatherings, the City of Montreal has decided to close all playgrounds located in the parks of all its boroughs. The closure is for an unlimited duration.

Parking and Permits:

Due to the pandemic, the City of Montréal has modified its parking restrictions for all boroughs in order to facilitate movement and ensure security to all.

Parking restrictions will be delayed until May 1 and during the month of April, no fines will be issued. The measure applies to all 19 boroughs.

People with resident parking stickers may continue to use them even if they are expired, until further notice. No new resident parking stickers are being issued. Also, only individuals with parking stickers are allowed to park in SRRR spaces, otherwise they will be subject to fines.

Furthermore, the City of Montreal is closely working with its partners to respond to the needs of the population. Please share the visual aid of resources (above) which Montrealers can contact, if needed.

Meanwhile, I invite you to consult the website of the Government of Quebec on the measures to take to protect yourself from the COVID-19: https://www.quebec.ca/en/health/health-issues/a-z/2019-coronavirus/

Finally, I am entirely available if you have questions related to the COVID-19 virus and to the municipal services offered by the City of Montreal.
