To help address this issue, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ResilienceMontreal\/\"><strong>Resilience Montr\u00e9al<\/strong><\/a> has spearheaded an initiative to offer services and meals to 150 people per day in Cabot Square.<\/p>\n<p>With fewer spaces available that are dedicated to serving the homeless, homelessness has become more visible in Peter-McGill, resulting in an influx of complaints to the Ville-Marie Borough and SPVM, particularly relating to drug use in public space. To address the concerns of Peter-McGill residents and to reduce tension between residents and the homeless, the Ville-Marie Borough has hired two mediators to be present in public spaces in Shaughnessy Village between Guy and Atwater Streets and Sherbrooke and Ren\u00e9-Levesque. <strong>These<\/strong> <strong>mediators, Kelsey and Kyra, are now available 7 days a week from 9am-5pm, to respond to complaints, answer questions and concerns, and to work with the Borough and local organisations towards finding solutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>CONTACT<\/strong> <strong>THE MEDIATION TEAM<\/strong>: (<strong>438) 377-7092<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>We would like to encourage you to use this number for complaints and non-emergencies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please share this information with your neighbours!
