With spring lifting our spirits and summer right around the corner, it seems that our journalists have found inspiration at every turn.<\/span><\/p><h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In case you missed them:<\/span><\/h4><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recaps of the training session on Urban Indigenous Issues hosted by the CJE with special guest Nakuset, executive director of the Native Women\u2019s Shelter of Montreal. Two journalists, Renee Corbiere and Muna Al-Mufti, share their experience as attendees, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>which can be read <\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/old.petermcgill.org\/en\/article-nakuset-in-dialogue-by-renee-corbiere\/\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/old.petermcgill.org\/en\/article-nakuset-event-re-cap-by-muna-al-mufti\/\">here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">The Journal is always open to submissions from residents and friends of Peter-McGill wishing to highlight events taking place in our community. First, you can take a look at the <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/old.petermcgill.org\/en\/citizens-journal-the-connection-students-compilation\/\">mutli-media compilation<\/a><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the members of Innovation Youth\u2019s Connections group, describing their first day of activities. Second, Jessie Ye provides us with a <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/old.petermcgill.org\/en\/visual-seed-to-table-first-look-2021-by-jessie-ye\/\">visual overview<\/a><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the opening day of the Seed to Table program, an exciting start to the growing season!<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/old.petermcgill.org\/en\/poeme-vaccination-by-philippe-fines\/\">acrostic poem<\/a><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from our prolific journalist Philippe Fin\u00e8s, saluting the simultaneous arrivals of springtime and the COVID-19 vaccine (I may or may not have shed a tear of joy when reading this one!).<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remember that the Journal accepts contributions in all shapes and sizes: written articles, visual arts, photography, podcasts\u2026 there is something for everyone!
